A Dance with Darkness Otherworld Academy Book 1 eBook Jenna Wolfhart
I read all the reviews downloaded the sample read 3 chapters thought it seemed to be going somewhere felt like it was building up. But the characters are like other reviewers said Flat. These guys who she meets where not described at all until after she sees them like 7 times and even then no name is put to a hair and eye color description. What about their height? Body shape? Does she look up to them or are they eye level? I got a better description of the dirty Manhattan streets than these guys. This story has a lot of potential but its boring. She's wanted for two murders without proof or evidence? They assume she's guilty because she's holding her friends neck from bleeding? That is not how the police would handle it anyway. And the step dad the author had it all building up and sounding like he was abusing them and how scared of him they are yet! Turns out he wasn't just intimidating them. She's 18 she didn't have to put up with his crap. But maybe that's just me because I left home at 17 and made it on my own. Anyway, this book could be good. Hoping it gets better but other reviewers said it won't.

A Dance with Darkness Otherworld Academy Book 1 eBook Jenna Wolfhart Reviews
The story could be good if it had been written differently, but as it is now you can tell almost from the beginning what's going to happen.
I was hooked from the beginning. This book is not rainbows and sunshine all the time, and It is not all saddness and despair either. It is a perfect mixture of good and bad. I absolutely cannot wait until the second book. Norah and her men are fantastic, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Sexy fairies that's what! I love the fae. Let's all collectively sigh that this book features every season. My only real complaint is the publishing house... marketing some how thought not linking book 2 at the end was a good idea. Anyways back to the writing.... is this sexy dribble? You bet. But God don't we love it.
Loved the book, devoured it in a day. But not terribly deep, I'm definitely going to keep going on this series. The only reason it got a 4 out of 5 is because it's not really detailed like crazy and the climax was a bit lackluster. Still enjoyed though!
Intriguing,Suspenseful,Captivating
Jenna Wolfhart does it again, what another phenomenal read, this book will have you hanging off the end of your seats to see what’s going to happen next. It’s uniquely different and a nice change then what’s already out. Our main character is funny, relatable, and compassionate I really loved her and loved how the author made you feel her emotions through out the book. The guys were each perfectly portrayed and distinct to them selves and you can’t help but to swoon and like them, I love the world she has created and the different twists and turns throughout the journey! A must read book! I couldn’t put it down til the very end!
This book is fascinating. I was invested from the first page to the last. Norah is a changeling and begins changing shortly before her eighteenth birthday since she is really a Fae. Her potential mate from each of the four Fae courts come to take her back, she is not amused. Once she is taken to the Academy of changelings we get to learn more about each season's characteristics. Norah spends time with each of her maybe mates, Liam/Summer, Rourke/Fall, Kael/Winter and Finn/Spring. There is intrigue and definitely a lot going on that is kept hidden. I totally enjoyed the interactions between Norah and her guys and I hated to get to the end of this book. But then it said book two comes out in May, Yay! I recommend this first book in this series. Enjoy! 💙💛💚💜
When the heroine started out as a changeling, I begin to find her annoying. I think she's naive in an immature sense and full of complaints.
But to my surprise and to my delight, she's grown into an exceptional character. She's stronger than what she seems. And I am not just talking about when it comes to her skills and powers as a Fae, but as a character in whole. It's heartbreaking what she's been through and I have never been more glad to see her taken care for by the heroes. She deserves all of those and more.
The heroes didn't turn out to be 1-dimensional, either. I was glad to see complexity to these guys.
The story obviously floored me, taking me by surprise. Although I already guessed what and how it will pan out, I enjoyed the pacing and how it has taken me till the end.
So excited to read more from this series!
